Timely Reminder
With fall and the return of children to school it’s time once again to remind
families of the importance of checking hair and scalp on a routine basis for
Head Lice. The sooner it is found,
the easier it is to control. We have had
one confirmed case so please remind your child of the importance of not sharing
personal items such as hats, combs, hair accessories, etc. Keep in mind that all cases need to be
reported to school.
CHS Homecoming Tailgate Party
Cathedral High School will be holding their Homecoming Tailgating Party
Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at SCSU (next to football stadium). It begins at 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm There will be free food before the game for

will
be
wearing certain colors that represent the different regions of the Mission
Rosary. 1st & 5th grade will be wearing green for the forests and
grasslands of Africa. 6th grade will be
wearing blue for the
ocean surrounding the islands of the Pacific. 2nd grade will be wearing
white to symbolize Europe, the home
of the Holy Father. 3rd grade will be wearing yellow symbolizing the morning
light of the East and “beginning of civilization” for Asia/Middle East. Kindergarten

brought missionaries to the Americas.
