Every Thursday school is in session we will provide this “Weekly Parent Newsletter”. Please read carefully. This will contain All Saints Academy, St. Cloud news for you and your family.

Please note, newly added information for this week will be under New News.   Information that has been previously published will be located under Bulletin Board at the end.

ATTENTION PARENTS:  THERE IS NO BUSSING AVAILABLE TOMORROW.  PARENTS WILL NEED TO TRANSPORT STUDENTS TO AND FROM SCHOOL FRIDAY, JUNE 3RD.

NEW NEWS
1. Graduation Mass at 8:15 am – Tomorrow, Friday, June 3rd we graduate 31 6th graders from the St. Cloud Campus.  Everyone is invited to attend the mass.  We will also be awarding some scholarships to a few of our students.  Immediately after mass, there will be a slideshow for 6th graders and their families and guests followed by a reception in the cafeteria.  The rest of their day will be spent at a party hosted by the Lenzmeiers and 6th grade parents.  ASA wishes our graduates the best in their future.

2. 3. Lunch Balance -  An email was sent through School Speak earlier this week regarding lunch balances.  If you have an outstanding balance, the email will state “you have an unpaid balance of____”.  Please send payment to Kris Haehn in the office.  If the email doesn’t state this, you don’t need to contact the office regarding lunch. 

4. Bill Payment – As the year draws to a close, please take some time to make sure all of the following accounts are up-to-date:  Tuition, Lunch, Barton Tutoring, Fund Raising, Volunteer Hours, Playground Duty and Library books.  End-of-year report cards will not be mailed until families have paid.  Statements have been sent regarding tuition, lunch & Barton tutoring.  If you have questions, please contact Mary Beth Wenner, Marybeth.wenner@allsaintsmn.org.

5.  Peter Pan Photos – Here is a link to photos from our recent production of Peter Pan.  All photos were take by David Eickhoff.  Anyone is welcome to download the photos by clicking on the downward pointing arrow at the lower right corner of the screen.  There is also a “download all” if you would like to get all photos.  If you have problems, please email David Eickhoff directly at deickhoff@plaza park.com.

6. Movie Marathon – There will be a Movie Marathon on Wednesday, June 8th at Parkwood Cinema.  Movies shown will be Lego Movie at 10:00 am, Despicable Me at 12:15 pm and Despicable Me 2 at 2:30 pm.  Tickets are $1/person and are only valid for the show time printed on the ticket.  There are only 160 tickets available for each movie.  Angry Birds Movie will also be shown at 10 am, 12:30 pm & 3:00 pm on June 8th.  Concession Combo vouchers are also for sale for $5.50.  All tickets are available for purchase at the Waite Park City Hall.

7. ASA Summer Picnics – ASA will be hosting two family summer picnics.  All families are invited to attend.  We will be serving a light dinner.  The first picnic will be at Pantown Park on Thursday, July 14th.  The second picnic will be Thursday, August 4th at Hester Park.  Both picnics will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. 

8. Tuition Assistance - If you are in need of a tuition assistance application, please contact Mrs. Bristow, marissa.bristow@allsaintsmn.org.  We will be using Fair again with tuition assistance.  You are welcome to stop in the office to pick one up, too.

9. Preschool & K – 6 RegistrationOur 3-day & 2-day, all-day Preschool session are currently full! We still have a few spots available in our 2-day & 3-day half day programs.  ASA has room for new students in Kindergarten – 6th grade.  Please tell your friends about the great education your children receive at ASA.  If you are a current family and haven’t returned your registration, please contact the office at 251-5295 and we can get you another form.

Bulletin Board
·    Labels for Education -  Please continue to save BoxTops for Education, Labels for Learning points from Cash Wise and Coborn’s (they do not expire even though there is an expiration date on them,) UPC’s from Country Hearth and Village Hearth products, pop and can tabs, used ink cartridges and old cell phones.  Continue to save Labels for Education (Campbell’s, Prego, & Swanson products.)  All labels may be dropped off at the school or church offices.  All of these labels earn money for the school!
·    Summer Barton Tutoring – Barton tutoring is being offered this summer. Tutors will be available on Tuesdays & Fridays during the summer months at the SC campus.  Levels 1 & 2 are free for enrolled ASA students.  Levels 3 – 6 is $15/hour.  If you are interested in having your child receive Barton Tutoring, please contact Faye Haws at 251-5295 or email at faye.haws@allsaintsmn.org. 
·    Math & Reading Tutor – Mrs. Lisa Poganski, Title teacher for the SC campus will be offering tutoring in math and reading this summer.  The cost is $20/hour and will take place at the SC campus on Tuesdays. If you are interested, please give Mrs. Poganski a call at 320-247-2145.
·    Summer Funzone - It's almost summer time!  And time to register for summer FunZone.  If you would like a summer registration form, please contact Andrea Kuechle.  If you registered for FunZone this past year, there is no need to complete a summer registration form. You simply need to email Funzone stating that your children will be attending summer Funzone and indicate the days of the week you expect your child to attend.  Please complete a registration form if you are new to FunZone this summer or if you are adding another child.  We have many fun activities planned as well as field trips planned each week!  Please contact Andrea Kuechle, Funzone Director, 251-5295 or sc.funzone@allsaintsmn.org if you have further questions.
·    Cave Quest; Following Jesus the Light of the World!!! - VBS registration forms are coming home in your child's Thursday folder. St. Peter's and Atonement Lutheran host VBS June 13-16 from 9-noon. It is open to ages 3 through grade 6;  anyone older than that can volunteer, we have tons of things for people to do! This is FREE if you register by May 31st.  Come Join us, we have an AMAZING and fun time learning  about Jesus' love for us! ·    Summer ArtSmart will also be available this summer.  There will be a session for grades 1/2 and a session for grades 3/4/5/6.  ArtSmart will be meeting Tuesday mornings.  You may choose from either a June session or July session, or both.  Forms will be available in the office.
·      Family Lunch Accounts - Family Lunch accounts need to be kept up to date. Notices are in Thursday folders this week if you owe $10 or more. If the balance owed is more than $30.00, students will receive a sandwich and milk during lunch until payment is received. According to Federal Policy from the Department of Agriculture, “Schools may deny a meal to a student who pays reduced or full price and who does not provide the required payment for the meal.”  Your cooperation with this matter is most appreciated.
·      School Speak – ASA has implemented School Speak, a school management system.  It is a secure portal that allows us to store information and communicate with our families. Many of you received the introductory email to log in to School Speak but haven’t log on yet. Please contact the office, 251-5295, so that we can provide the information for you so you can log onto School Speak.  We would like all parents to log in and update their profile.  This technology will allow us to provide more information, communicate with parents and offer useful tools for everyone who is a member of our school community.
·      Sign Up for REMIND: The St. Cloud Campus would like to invite parents/guardians to sign up for REMIND. REMIND is a safe, free and easy way we can connect with parents through texting. It allows us to communicate with all parents instantly. Signing up is done through a unique code to Mrs. Marissa Bristow. Please text to 612-260-4578 and in the message section enter @ef392. It is that easy. You will be added on to the parent list.  If you have signed up in the past, it is not necessary to sign up again.
