NEW NEWS

Drop Off & Pick Up Reminder
Please do not leave any young children (not yet old enough to stay at home by themselves) in your vehicle while going in the building during drop off or pick up.  Please ensure your child, if appropriate is in a car seat/booster seat appropriate for his or her age.  Our student's safety at school is our top priority. As such all of us at ASA are Mandated Reporters and we are required to make a report if we were to observe any of this happening - even with children not in our school.

Thank you for understanding - please let us know if there are any questions at all about this and if we can help in any way.

Workathon 2016 – Save the Date:  October 29th
All Saints Academy families will be participating in our Workathon fall fundraiser.  Workathon will be Saturday, October 29.  Please look at the packet in your youngest child’s Thursday folder.  This contains important information – please take a moment to review.

Workathon provides a great service to the community by assisting older citizens and those who are physically challenged with their fall chores.  Jobs may include raking leaves, picking up litter, cleaning out gardens, stacking wood, etc.  Our students ask local residents, relatives and special friends to make a donation in support their work.  This year students have been busy writing letters to prospective donors in an effort to reach out to others for support of their work and our school.

The St. Cloud Campus’ goal is $34,000.  Each student’s personal goal is $200.  When classrooms reach certain goals, there are prizes for the class.  If you know of someone who is need of help with fall yard work, please contact the office at 251-5295.

World Rosary Day will be observed tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 7th. Students and staff will be gathering at 2:00 pm in the church.  All are welcome to join us.  We will be praying for world peace. Students willbe wearing certain colors that represent the different regions of the Mission Rosary. 1st & 5th grade will be wearing green for the forests and grasslands of Africa. 6th grade will be wearing blue for the ocean surrounding the islands of the Pacific. 2nd grade will be wearingwhite to symbolize Europe, the home of the Holy Father. 3rd grade will be wearing yellow symbolizing the morning light of the East and “beginning of civilization” for Asia/Middle East. Kindergarten & 4th grade will be wearing red, calling to mind the fire of faith that brought missionaries to the Americas.
Gather your rosary and join us in this special prayer devotion to Mary.
