Kindergarten Open House
TONIGHT, ASA is hosting a Kindergarten Open House for our current preschool families and school families who have 2018-19 Kindergarten eligible children. It will be held in the Kindergarten homerooms on Thursday, January 25 th from 6 – 7 pm. This open house is for our current families with incoming Kindergarteners. (ASA is hosting an Open House for the public on February 8 th .) There will be an activity for the students and time for parents to talk with administration & Kindergarten homeroom teachers. If you would like to learn about our Kindergarten program, please consider attending.
Enrollment is now open for the 2018-2019 School Year!
K-6 registration began on Monday, January 22, 2018. To Re-Enroll for the
2018-2019 School Year: All current families will receive an email with a link to TADS, a third party website that we will use for enrollment. Please go through the enrollment process on TADS.
To apply for financial aid after you have enrolled: On the TADS website, click on the Financial Aid tab. There is a $39 fee to apply for financial aid.
Catholic Schools Week January 28 – February 3
During Catholic Schools Week, we will be celebrating All Saints Academy’s presence in the parishes, school, families and community. We will kick-off the week with a mass on Sunday, Jan. 28 th at 10:30 am at St. Michael’s Church. The faculty Catholic Schools Week Committee has planned many fun ways for ASA to celebrate Catholic Schools Week! A schedule of all the activities is in your youngest child’s Thursday folder. It will also be posted on School Speak.
Open House
All Saints Academy would like to invite prospective parents to an Open House for Preschool – 6 th grade on Thursday, Feb. 8 th . The St. Cloud Campus Open House will be ALL DAY 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Please pass the word onto friends, relatives, coworkers who may be interested in All Saints Academy. They will be able to spend time and tour our St. Cloud campus, 1215 11th Ave N, St. Cloud and experience the love and caring displayed by our teachers every day.
Our FunZone childcare will also be available for a visit for questions regarding our after-school and summer care program. Come tour our program and see what All Saints Academy has to offer.

Extravaganza Tickets Available
Extravaganza tickets are available for order now! Click here , read the instructions and complete the online order form. You may pay by credit card on the order form. Tickets are also available in both school offices. Extravaganza is Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, immediately following 4:30 pm Mass. Elegant, strolling heavy hors d'oeuvres, a dessert table, cash bar, silent auction, live auction and the band Outside Recess will all be at this year’s Extravaganza 2018! All tickets and auction items purchased are applied to your family’s fundraising goal of $350/student. ALL ARE INVITED! BRING YOUR FRIENDS!

Riddler’s Escape will be at the Extravaganza
This is a live-action, immersive game. Groups enter a Pirate Escape room to solve the secrets before time runs out. A mini-version of the escape room will be at the event for adventurers to try. Teams consist of 4-6 people, and each session is $60 per team to participate. You can book online at www.RiddlersEscape.com . Donations will be accepted and benefit All Saints Academy Schools. YO-YOs are coming to town!
As part of Catholic Schools Week, Dazzling Dave, the Yo-yo guy, will be here on Tuesday. Parents and siblings are welcome to join us for the event at 8:15 am. He will be performing until 9 am. He will then be teaching the art of yo-yoing to k-6th grade students throughout the day. He will have yo-yo’s available for sale on Tuesday through the following Tuesday during all lunches. While not necessary for the program, many students will want to purchase a yo-yo. Please see the flyer in today’s Thursday folder for pricing and options if your child is interested!
It’s Still Winter!
Our students continue to go outside for recess if the temperature allows. Please make sure your students have appropriate clothing for outdoor recess. All children need to bring a coat to school. Please send boots and snow pants to school everyday. Wearing the appropriate winter clothing keeps them warm and shoes/clothing dry during the school day. Students may leave snow pants and boots at school on their hook.
St. Peter's Dinner Theater
Come support a partner parish! Many ASA students, alumni, and families are involved in the production again this year (both on stage and behind the scenes). The show promises to be wonderful again! Tickets are on sale for the production of Guys and Dolls! Dinner and show tickets are available for Friday Feb 9th and Saturday Feb 10th (dinner at 6:15, play starts at 7:30) $25.00/adult and $20.00/child 12 and under. Show only tickets available for Sunday Feb 11th (show starts at 2:00 pm) Adults $15.00, children 12 and under $10.00.
If you are interested email Meaghan Baynes at meaghan.baynes@gmail.com or stop in the St. Peter's Welcome Center on Tues, Thur, or Fri morning, 8-noon to buy tickets. Tickets are also being sold after all the weekend masses at St. Paul's and St. Peter's.

Recess Volunteers Needed!
We are in great need of recess volunteers in January and February. The open dates are listed on the School Speak Calendar. Please contact Kris in the office to sign up for available dates. Remember, unless you have paid the $50.00 opt out fee, each family is required to complete two days of recess duty. We need one parent volunteer each dayin addition to our playground staff.
Parents as Partners
PAC is sponsoring a discussion series on Monday evenings beginning this January. Our first class is next Monday, January 22, 2018, the topic is “Internet Savvy” with speaker Karen Meinz, Cathedral Technology, who will address concerns related to social media use, screen time, and internet safety. There will be a Simple Supper at 5:30 pm with a free-will offering before the class. Discussion will run from 6:15 – 7:30 pm. ASA will provide free Funzone during the speaker part of the evening. During Catholic Schools Week, we will be celebrating All Saints Academy’s presence in the parishes, school, families and community. Our faculty Catholic Schools Week Committee is planning a fun week for everyone.
Some events include dress up days as well as bowling. We will cap the week with our Extravaganza celebration. The complete schedule for Catholic Schools Week will be coming home next week.
Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition
The annual Knights of Columbus are hosting a Free Throw Competition on Friday, January 19th during the school day at ASA. Students age 9 - 12 years old may participate. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Opatz for an entry form.
