Lenten Projects
Our students are participating in three lenten projects this spring. First, they are creating birthday bags for Catholic Charities designed for parents to pick up in order to celebrate their children’s birthdays. Bags will include boxed cake mix, frosting, candles, a card, and a small gift for children ages 1-9. Please consider donating these items to our birthday bag mission by bringing any of these items to the main lobby as soon as possible. Second, students are dropping coins into their rice bowl boxes to benefit Catholic Relief Services. Today, they met Fr. Bill Voss, director of mission at the St. Cloud Diocese, and Sr. Gloriosa who shared their experiences working with the poor in East Africa to develop clean water and farming projects. Finally, students are bringing a donation or prayer request to mass on Fridays. Please join us in our prayerful preparation for the Triduum and Easter Sunday.

Parents as Partners Series #3 and #4:
Join us for two evenings discussing and learning positive character, social and emotional development for kids that can transform their school experiences. Parents will learn how to enhance their family culture, develop the character values they hold dear in their children, and promote positive mental attitudes that carry over into all areas of student life.
Check out their website: https://top20training.com/
Top 20 trainer, Paul Beirnabei, will be here to work with parents, answer questions and help us practice all of these skills. He is a dynamic and entertaining speaker.
This training will take place over two evenings. Please mark your calendars for March 26th and April 30th .The school would like to see ALL parents attend both sessions.
From Top 20’s website:
Top 20 Training offers a simple language that helps people discover critical thinking, learning and communicating skills. Whether it is through Top 20 books or training sessions, learning the concepts together provides parents and students greater benefits at a faster rate. When everyone in the family knows this language, the skills become easier to practice and implement into daily life.
Top 20 Training helps parents:
  • Find ways to enhance and become a part of their child’s education
  • Obtain a shared working vocabulary of the content to help foster an environment where the concepts can be learned together
  • Communicate more effectively and improve their relationship with their children
  • Develop positive mental habits and reduce negative mental habits in their children.

PAC will provide a free simple supper for families at 5:30 pm, free childcare will be provided at FunZone, and the program will run from 6:15 to 8 pm. (A free will donation box to help cover the cost of food will be available if you are so inclined). Please RSVP at the following link:https://goo.gl/forms/ruAlE1AQKgBeoXYj1
