Every Thursday school is in session you will be receiving a link to the “Weekly Parent Newsletter”. Please read carefully. This will contain All Saints Academy, St. Cloud news for you and your family.

NEW NEWS
ASA Spring Musical: Lion King Jr. @ St. Joseph Campus
You are invited to the All Saints Academy production of "Lion King, Jr." featuring 5th and 6th grade students from our ASA community!  

Tickets are available in the front office, $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for ages 5-12, and Free for children 4 and under.  Tickets are also available at the door before each performance, too.  Showings include May 12th and 13th at 7:00 pm at the SJ Campus.

Spring Picnic Volunteers Needed
PAC is in need of volunteers for the Spring Picnic.  Please use the directions below to help with the picnic.

Toys for Catholic Charities
The TOY shelves at Catholic Charities are empty.  ASA fifth graders are collecting donations to help them restock.  If you have any TOYS, PUZZLES, OR GAMES  that your family no longer uses or needs, please consider donating them to help families in need.  

If items are loose and should be kept in a set, please put them in a bag or box to help keep things together.  Collection boxes will be placed around  the school.  
                 
Please have donations to school by Friday, May 19.   Thank you!

Remembering Patrick McMullen
Cathedral will be selling T-shirts in remembrance of Patrick McMullen.  All proceeds will benefit the McMullen family.  The t-shirts are dark blue with the childhood cancer gold ribbon on the front. T-shirts are available in the Activities Office at Cathedral.  Cost is $10 each, - $12 for 2X.  Please make checks out to the McMullen Family.

CHS Tanzania Trip
Mrs. O’Neal’s class and Thrivent Financial are working on a small fund raiser for the Cathedral students traveling to Tanzania on a mission trip.  Please refer to the email that was sent regarding the Tanzania Trip.  The 4th graders are planning some silent auction baskets that will be available for bidding at the Family Spring Picnic, May 18th .  They are currently accepting donations for these baskets:  Picnic, Arts/Crafts & Water/A Day at the Beach themes.  Please contact Mrs. O’Neal for more info, amy.o’neal@allsaintsmn.org.

2017-2018 ASA Band
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have some exciting opportunities coming up in the next few weeks to consider joining band for next year! Tomorrow, Friday, May 12th, all 3rd graders and interested 4th and 5th graders will have a chance to try out some instruments and see if band is something they might be interested in for next year. Additional information was sent home last week.  There will be more informational meetings for parents to learn more, the many benefits of learning to play an instrument, and why we hope that you will choose band to be a part of YOUR child’s education!

Tuition Assistance
If you are in need of a tuition assistance application, please contact Mrs. Bristow, marissa.bristow@allsaintsmn.org.  We will be using Fair again with tuition assistance.  You are welcome to stop in the office to pick one up, too.

Summer Tutor
Parents, Lisa Poganski will be tutoring students this summer at the St. Cloud campus.  She will tutor math and reading classes or a combination of both.  The cost is $20/hour.  Classes will begin the second week in June and will be held Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  If you are interested, please contact her directly at 320-247-2145.

Playground Duty – May 8th – 12th 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.  All families are required to volunteer for 2 days/year or they may opt out by paying $50/family.)

BULLETIN BOARD
·  Cathedral Summer Camp registration is underway! Camps are offered for ages 3 through completing 11th grade. There are active sports camps like volleyball and football as well as camps for interesting hobbies such as photography and fishing.  Click here for a brochure and for registration.  Questions?  Please call Julie at 320-257-2120.  The digital copy is attached to the School Speak copy of this newsletter and newsletter email.
·  Plan your summer calendar for Vacation Bible School!  We are partnering with Atonement Lutheran for our 28th year to offer VBS to our children ages 3 through grade 6 on June 12-15th.  Anyone in 7th grade or older can be involved by volunteering. Calls will be made for volunteers in April; if you already know you want to volunteer or have any questions, please call or email Tricia Meling at 612-499-1672 or nolan141@hotmail.com. Watch for the registration forms and more information this spring.
·  St. John’s University Basketball Summer Day Camp will be June 26 – 29th from 9 – 11:30 am for 3rd – 6th grade  For questions, please contact Connor O’Brien at 320-363-2063 or email cobrien@csbsju.edu.  Registration forms are available in the office.
·      The SchoolSpeak iPhone App is now available on Apple App Store (search for SchoolSpeak on App Store.) If you have an iPhone, you can access School Speak content. You will need your login ID as well as your password. The app requires Wi-Fi or mobile data connection to log in. All of your home pages on School Speak will be available. At this time, you cannot update information such as your profile on the iPhone app. That feature is in the future.
·      Families can check their fund raising dollars on School Speak at any time. In order to meet our annual budget at ASA we offer opportunities for families to fundraise and meet their goal of $350/student. Please take the time to check how much your family has raised towards your fund raising commitment. This will help you determine how much you need to fund raise for the remainder of the year.
·      Family Lunch accounts need to be kept up to date. Families will receive notice if their balance is more than $15. Your cooperation with this matter is most appreciated.
·      Sign Up for REMIND: The St. Cloud Campus would like to invite parents/guardians to sign up for REMIND. REMIND is a safe, free and easy way we can connect with parents through texting. It allows us to communicate with all parents instantly. Signing up is done through a unique code to Mrs. Marissa Bristow. Please text to 612-260-4578 and in the message enter @ef392. It is that easy. You will be added on to the parent list. If you have signed up in the past, it is not necessary to sign up again.
·      Keep Collecting! - Continue to save Labels For Learning, Labels for Education (Swansons, Post, and Prego) only the UPC with the point value is accepted, Box Tops for Education, UPC's from Country Hearth and Village Hearth Products as part of the Loaves4Learning Program, pop and can tabs, old cell phones and used ink cartridges. Keep saving!
