Every Thursday school is in session you will be receiving a link to the “Weekly Parent Newsletter”. Please read carefully. This will contain All Saints Academy, St. Cloud news for you and your family.

NEW NEWS
Open House
All Saints Academy, St. Cloud Campus is holding a second Open House Tuesday, March 7th, all day. 
Parents will be able to spend time and tour our St. Cloud campus, 1215 11th Ave N, St. Cloud and experience the love and caring displayed by our teachers every day.  Our environment allows child/ren to develop individually and have success academically, spiritually and socially.  Our school community provides an active, supportive and caring environment for peers, teachers, staff and parents.  There will be tours available that evening.   Our Funzone childcare will also be available if you have questions regarding our after-school care program.  Preschool - 6th grade teachers will also be available to visit and answer questions.  Come have a tour and see what All Saints Academy has to offer.  Invite your friends!  If you have questions, please contact us at 251-5295. 

Cathedral Registration
A reminder that Cathedral’s new student registration is Thursday, February 9th from 4:00-8:00. Please turn submit applications as soon as possible. They will be mailing out enrollment forms soon.

February Conferences
Conferences for the first trimester of school will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23rd and Tuesday, Feb. 28th from 3:45 pm – 6:30 pm both nights.  Conferences will be open for sign up Friday, February 10th at 10:00 am.  Each conference is a 15 minute, scheduled appointment to meet with your child/ren's teacher. Parent(s) is/are required to be in attendance at both fall & winter conferences.  We are using School Speak to sign up and organize our fall conferences.  If you do not know your username/password, please contact Kris Haehn and she will assist you.  On School Speak:
1. Find your child’s homeroom page on the left side of the screen
2. Click on “Fall Conferences”
3. Choose your conference time & sign up.
5/6th grade parents please schedule a conference with your homeroom teacher.  It is not necessary to schedule a conference with each 5th & 6th grade teacher.
Marj Groseth, our Spanish Teacher will be in the Spanish room Thursday, February 23rd.
Mary Goenner, our Music Teacher will be in the music room on Thursday, February 23rd.
Ellen Detra, our Art Teacher will be in the art room Tuesday, February 28th.
Josie Moen, our PhyEd Teacher will be in the gym on Tuesday, February 28th .
Lisa Poganski, our Title 1 Teacher will be in the Title 1 room at the very top of the main stairs as you come into the school on both nights from 4-6pm only.
Mrs. Faye Haws, Barton Tutor will be here both nights of conferences from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
Kelly Haws, Barton will be here both nights and will be available from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Simple Supper
ASA will be offering a Simple Supper both conference nights.  A sign-up sheet for the supper will be coming in your youngest child’s Thursday folder. Please look for it and complete the form if you would like to have a night off from cooking.

Used Book Fair
PAC is collecting gently used books for the upcoming book sale later this month. Please bring books to school starting on Monday, February 6th. Each classroom will have donation boxes as well as the office and Fun Zone. Books can be picture books, chapter books, teen, how-to, crafts, puzzle, cookbooks, children magazines, but please, No "adult novels" or "adult magazines." What a great way to purge your collection and refill it later this month! Thanks!
ArtSmart
Art Smart classes will begin a new session for 2nd-4th graders.  Classes will be held on Tuesdays, February 14th, 21st, 28th and March 1st.  There is still room and time to sign up.  Please contact the office if you need an enrollment form.

BULLETIN BOARD
· The SchoolSpeak iPhone App is now available on Apple App Store (search for SchoolSpeak on App Store.) If you have an iPhone, you can access School Speak content. You will need your login ID as well as your password. The app requires Wi-Fi or mobile data connection to log in. All of your home pages on School Speak will be available. At this time, you cannot update information such as your profile on the iPhone app. That feature is in the future.
· Families can check their fund raising dollars on School Speak at any time. In order to meet our annual budget at ASA we offer opportunities for families to fundraise and meet their goal of $350/student. Please take the time to check how much your family has raised towards your fund raising commitment. This will help you determine how much you need to fund raise for the remainder of the year. Our next fund raiser is the Extravaganza on February 4th.
· Family Lunch accounts need to be kept up to date. Families will receive notice if their balance is at or below $-10.00. Your cooperation with this matter is most appreciated.
· Sign Up for REMIND: The St. Cloud Campus would like to invite parents/guardians to sign up for REMIND. REMIND is a safe, free and easy way we can connect with parents through texting. It allows us to communicate with all parents instantly. Signing up is done through a unique code to Mrs. Marissa Bristow. Please text to 612-260-4578 and in the message enter @ef392. It is that easy. You will be added on to the parent list. If you have signed up in the past, it is not necessary to sign up again.
·Keep Collecting! - Continue to save Labels For Learning, Labels for Education (Swansons, Post, and Prego) only the UPC with the point value is accepted, Box Tops for Education, UPC's from Country Hearth and Village Hearth Products as part of the Loaves4Learning Program, pop and can tabs, old cell phones and used ink cartridges. Keep saving!

SATUARDAY NIGHT

Extravaganza:  A Night for All Saints Academy – Tickets available.

NEW NEWS
Extravaganza is TOMORROW, Saturday, February 4th
Our largest, most important Fundraiser of the year – our 5th annual Extravaganza for All Saints Academy at the St. Cloud Campus again!  Invite your friends! This “not-to be missed” event features a strolling, heavy appetizer buffet, silent, live auctions, our important Fund-A-Need and the band “Outdoor Recess.” We hope you’ll be able to attend.  Tickets are $50/person.  If you plan on using the tickets, please send your check to school indicating you are purchasing Extravaganza tickets.

Cathedral’s Cure for Cabin Fever is also on Sat., Feb.4th.  If you are looking for a babysitter, Cathedral Student Ambassadors are ready to take your kids while you enjoy yourself at Extravaganza!  Your children will enjoy snacks & activities at Cathedral.  Cost is $10/child from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.  All families must preregister at least 24 hours before the event.  Walk-ins will be charged $20/child.  To preregister, visit cathedralcrusaders.org!

Saturday, 4:30 pm mass at St. Paul’s! Start your evening off by joining St. Paul’s for mass and sleep in on Sunday! It’s only a short 50 foot walk from church to Extravaganza!

The fun begins at 5:30 pm with live music beginning at 8:45 pm.  But we need YOU And your guests! Ticket price for the event is $50/person and it counts towards your family fundraising dollars.

Never attended before?  New parent?  Like last year, ASA parents attending for the first time will be offered ½ price tickets as a little incentive to “check out Extravaganza.”  Just let us know when you turn in your ticket payment.

Riddler's Escape Rooms will be at the Extravaganza.
Riddler’s Escape is a live-action, immersive game. Groups enter a theme-filled room to solve the secrets and secure the power crystal before time runs out. A mini-version of the escape room will be at the event for adventurers to try. Teams consist of 4-6 people and is $10 per person to participate.  Donations will be accepted and benefit All Saints Academy Schools.  For questions, contact Amie at info@riddlersescape.com or 888-64-RIDDLER.  You are welcome to sign up early for this experience by clicking on this link, www.RiddlersEscape.com , click on “Book Now,” and then “Special Room Requests.”  You may choose your time and pay too.

Catholic Schools Week Wrap Up
Thank you to everyone who made Catholic Schools Week a success.  Thank you to the CSW Committee, PAC, Cathedral and all of our parents for organizing and helping make it a celebratory week.  

Extravaganza Volunteers Needed
Volunteering at the Extravaganza gives you a great chance to meet other families. You will be helping with the event and making a difference for All Saints Academy! 

There is a need for people to help with raffle ticket sales, heads and tails beads sales, and helping with checkout after silent auction has ended.

Kutzera Thank You

Open House
All Saints Academy would like to invite prospective parents to an Open House for Preschool – 6th grade on Thursday, Feb. 9th. The St. Cloud Campus Open House will be ALL DAY 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Please pass the word onto friends, relatives, coworkers who may be interested in All Saints Academy.  They will be able to spend time and tour our St. Cloud campus, 1215 11th Ave N, St. Cloud and experience the love and caring displayed by our teachers every day. 

Our FunZone childcare will also be available for a visit for questions regarding our after-school and summer care program. Come have a tour and see what All Saints Academy has to offer.

Clothing Drive
The 6th grade Catholic Social Teaching Group is holding a winter clothing drive through Wednesday, Feb. 1st.  If you have any clothes or winter gear that you don’t need, please bring it in and drop it off in one of the boxes around the school and church.  All clothes will be donated to Catholic Charities. (It’s not too late to drop off items, donations will be accepted through Feb. 6th.)

Children’s Clothing
Are you cleaning your closets out at all?  We are in need of a few pairs of pants/sweatpants/leggings in sizes 4 – 7 for boys and girls.  We like to keep them in case of emergencies.  If your child needs a pair of pants from the office, please launder and return the pants to us.
