Ministry Day. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1st,
District 742 will begin bussing. There
will be no classes held Fri., Sept. 4th and Mon., Sept. 7th
due to Labor Day weekend.

for Mon., Aug. 31st and Fri., Sept. 4th. Please call or email ASAP to reserve a spot
for your child, scfunzone@allsaintsmn.org or

4. School
Speak – ASA has implemented School Speak, a new online school
management system. It is a secure portal
that allows us to store information and communicate with our families. Many of
you have received the introductory email to log in to School Speak. If you haven’t, please contact the office, 251-5295,
so that we can provide the information for you.
We would like all parents to log in and update their profile. This technology will allow us to provide more
information, communicate with parents and offer useful tools for everyone who
is a member of our school community.
5. Playground Fundraiser Breakfast – On Sunday, September 13th, The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a breakfast at St.
Peter’s Church. The cost is $7/adult, 5 and under are free. All proceeds will go towards continuing to
pay for the new St. Cloud playground addition!
We will be asking St. Cloud parents/families to take a role in
working this breakfast and selling tickets. 8 (eight)
tickets will be sent home in this Thursday folder in an envelope. The complete cost of the ticket can be
applied towards your fundraising requirement of $350/child. We are in need of volunteers to work
the breakfast. If you are new to the All Saints Academy family, this
is a good time to meet people by working the breakfast. Any time you
can donate to working the breakfast will help us continue expanding our
playground at the St. Cloud Campus. All hours at the breakfast can
go towards your family’s 15 volunteer hours/year.
6. Share Your Gifts at All Saints Academy –
Volunteering at school is a wonderful opportunity to give back and share your
gifts. Volunteering at school also allows you to see your children and
other children in the school setting. We are requesting that each family volunteer 15 hours/year at school.
(Recess volunteers are our greatest need
and counts towards your 15 hours.) If
your day/year does not allow you to volunteer, we ask that you pay $50 per
family (general volunteering)

9. 2015-2016 Playground
Supervision Program – Our goal is to have at least two parents who have children in K
– 6th grade with a maximum of three, on the playground everyday to
assist the school staff during the entire recess period. The time commitment for parents will be one

Lunch Program – Parents, it is not too late to send in
applications for free and/or reduced hot lunches. You can pick up an
application at the office. When students receive free/reduced lunches, our hot
lunch program receives a reimbursement from the government, benefitting our
lunch program. If you have questions regarding this program please contact Mrs.
Bristow at 251-5295 or marissa.bristow@allsaintsmn.org.
11. Field Trip Form – This
Thursday folder contains the blanket field trip form. This will cover all field trips that students
would be attending for the year. Teachers will notify parents regarding
scheduled field trips throughout the year and any additional pertinent
information. Please read the form carefully, complete the form for each child
and then return it to school by September 11th
12 Parent Meetings - All
Parent grade-level meetings will be held Tuesday, September 15th. We
invite everyone to gather in the cafeteria for a short school-wide presentation
at 6:00 pm. Grade level teachers will be making their presentation
twice during the evening in homerooms at 6:30 & again at 7:00 pm. This
will give you an opportunity to hear all the specifics for each grade level
that evening. More information about the evening will be in next
week’s parent newsletter.
13. Sacramental Preparation – All Saints Academy
supports and recognizes that our families are members of parishes and
encourages and supports your involvement in your families’ church.
Parishes as well as Catholic Schools work as partners
in their responsibility to support parents as the primary educators of their
children.
The responsibility of preparation for the sacraments
is one that belongs to the parish. All Saints
Academy supports that formation which is led by the parish. All families are expected to be in contact
with their parishes to ensure you are actively registered and involved in your
parish as well as involved in sacramental preparation.
