Parents as Partners
PAC is sponsoring a discussion series on Monday evenings beginning this January. Our first class will be Monday, January 22, 2018, the topic is “Internet Savvy” with speaker Karen Meinz, Cathedral Technology, who will address concerns related to social media use, screen time, and internet safety. There will be a Simple Supper at 5:30 pm with a free-will offering before the class. Discussion will run from 6:15 – 7:30 pm. ASA will provide free Funzone during the speaker part of the evening. Catholic Schools Week January 28 – February 3
During Catholic Schools Week, we will be celebrating All Saints Academy’s presence in the parishes, school, families and community. Our faculty Catholic Schools Week Committee is planning a fun week for everyone.
Some events include dress up days as well as bowling. We will cap the week with our Extravaganza celebration. The complete schedule for Catholic Schools Week will be coming home soon.
Recess Volunteers Needed
Thank you to all who have volunteered so far this year for playground duty. As we enter the cold winter months our students continue to go outside for recess. We are in great need of volunteers in January and February. The open dates are listed on the School Speak Calendar. Please contact Kris in the office to sign up for available dates. Remember, unless you have paid the $50.00 opt out fee, each family is required to complete two days of recess duty. Typically, one parent volunteer is needed in addition to our playground staff, but we have several days in January where two are needed.
Thank you all for your help and generosity with your time!
